Duranta repens 'Geisha Girl' (sometimes called the Sky Flower) is a very popular, bushy evergreen shrub with pendulous branches, pale green foliage and deep blue flowers with white centres that are held at the ends of the weeping branches.
They will grow to around 1.5m x 1.5m and make a colourful impact through summer.
'Geisha Girl' is hardier than the species, and seems not to be as weedy.
Select a well drained location with plenty of sun throughout the day.
They have average water needs but can withstand some periods of drought.
Maintenance: A vigorous pruning after flowering has finished for the season will promote bushy growth and a fuller flush of flowers next time round.
