I've just sowed some Radicchio seeds that someone gave me as a gift but I don't know how to look after them once they have germinated. Anyone got any clues??
Its pretty easy fin, like any salad crops just keep them watered and planted in plenty of sunshine. You should water them lightly everyday as they germinate then when they are a few weeks old you can reduce that to once every few days - depending on how hot it is, the hotter the more water they'll need, though only apply it in the morning, as early as you can.
A layer of straw mulch will help them maintain moisture - but apart from that, that's all you need do. Then just sit back and harvest them when they look ready.
