Hi all, please see photo. I’m wondering if anyone can tell me why some of the leaves on my lemon tree are turning yellow? Thank you
Lemon trees require a lot of fertiliser especially during the growing season. Yellowing of the leaves is often the first sign of lack of Nitrogen in the soil. There are various sustained release fertilisers that can be used that will continue to feed the plant for 4-6months. I would also give the tree a feed with a liquid fertiliser at the same time as you put the sustained release fertiliser down. Sustained release fertilisers take a a couple of weeks to begin to release good nutrient levels and your tree sounds like it needs feeding now.
