Dear members, Help please! Am I overwatering my eumundi quandong or is something else going on? Beautiful and healthy when I planted them in new soil and container has plenty of drainage. Leaf tips are dead on existing growth. There is new growth coming in which is fine.
Hello, Your Eleocarpus eumundi is clearly suffering from transplant shock, hence the brown leaf tips. However the presence of new growth indicates that the plant is well and recovering. The best way to avoid transplant shock is to put the pot in a bucket of water with seaweed extract in it and let soak for ten minutes or so, let it drain then transplant. Oh, and by the way be careful not to overwater - around once per week should do for most shrubs or small trees.
