Hi guys,
I have a daintree pine and was wondering if there is a specific way to start growing them from seed.
Warm regards
Hey Jason, like most seeds you need to give them a soak first to soften the outer skin, then sprinkle them onto potting mix in a tray and cover with a thin layer of more mix. Water it and place a plastic bag over and stand it in a saucer. This will minimise moisture loss. Place in a warm location but out of direct sunlight. Keep the potting mix just moist, not overly wet as it can cause the seeds to rot. If you plant enough seeds one or two should germinate. Good luck.
