Citrus trees in pots are susceptible to the soil drying out especially in the warmer months, during summer water once or twice a week. For plants grown in pots it is better to use a sustained release for Citrus in Spring and again in Summer. Fruit drop can be caused by either lack of nutrients or irregular water supply.
Fruit drop is also plant's way of telling you there is too much fruit on the tree and to survive it needs to loose some of the fruit. Once the flowers have finished remove much the small fruit, leave maybe 1 or 2 max per bunch and a a distance of about 20cm between each group.
For best results try all three.
