Hi,
Each year my Frangipani's get yellow ends, they look to get worse, the growth is stunted and some have died.
Does anyone know what causes this end branch problem?
Cheers
Pete
Hi Peter
My initial response is that the plants are too wet. Frangipani love well drained sandy soils. They can suffer from fungal problems in poorly drained soils particularly in winter, for this reason I would not water over winter. The tips looks soft which is a sign of fungal infection. I would stop watering the trees for now and spray with an anti-fungal solution like Yates Anti-Rot.
