Can I plant DIANELLA CAERULEA in an area that only gets a couple of hours direct sunlight each day? It will be planted in a narrow garden bed next to a fence and about 2 1/2 m from the house.
Thanks! Michelle
Dianella caerulea is a very tough plant. It prefers full sun but can be planted in areas with only a few hours of sun each day. It will grow to about 1m tall and wide and makes a dense low hedge. There is a smaller cultivar called Little Jess™ that grows to 40cm x 40cm which may be a better choice if you have narrow bed to plant.
