A tough, dense, evergreen shrub to four metres, with thick needle type foliage and bright yellow/bronze flower spikes up to 35cms long. These appear during autumn and winter, sometimes lasting through to early spring.
As with most Banksia they attract birds to the garden and are a spectacular sight when in flower.
Very good in coastal environments and able to withstand drought, this hybrid from Banksia ericifolia and Banksia spinulosa is a very hardy and useful plants for many garden conditions.
