Anigozanthos hybrids - or Kangaroo Paw, grow in a clump with very grass-like mid green leaves and branching stems which carry the claw shaped flowers.
These very distinctive flowers can be green, yellow, orange or a variety of soft reds.
There are an increasing range of hybrids available that have become popular because the are hardy in more humid climates tend to be ink-spot resistant and the colour range is very broad.
Also very popular as cut flowers, Kangaroo Paws have now become mainstream.
