Acacia ingramii is a large multi-stemmed shrub which, in favourable conditions, can grow to 6m tall.
It has long, linear phyllodes that tend to be pendulous. During the spring masses of fluffy globe shaped flowers are borne in racemes from the phyllode axils. The leaves tend to droop below the flowers, the branch tips seem covered with a bright yellow layer.
This is a very attractive Acacia, though not always available from mainstream nurseries, unless on special order.
