Acacia menzelii is a small to medium size shrub with a rounded and spreading appearance.
The needle-like phyllodes are green and up to 35mm in length, they can be straight or curved. During spring the plant is covered with masses of fluffy yellow ball shaped flowers borne on single stalks in ones or twos from the leaf axil.
Listed as a nationally vulnerable plant.
