This a dwarf form of Baeckea virgata it has a compact and rounded habit.
In late spring and summer it produces masses of white dainty flowers which are lightly honey scented, and attract butterflies and bees.
This is a very hardy Australian native shrub suitable for coastal plantings and boggy sites and makes and excellent hedge due to its lovely, dense foliage.
Once established it will tolerate moderate droughts and frosts.
The dwarf form can be used in pots, and rockeries and as a edging shrub along borders.
