A hardy, evergreen, low growing perennial that makes a good groundcover as it is quite vigorous in growth.
It has silvery grey, narrow leaves that are covered in fine hairs and it also bears continuing flushes of delicately pretty white star shaped flowers through spring and summer.
Cerastium tomentosum is good over rocks or in a border if you control its spread, also underplanting to provide contrast with darker colours.
