Baeckea virgata is an erect, woody shrub with a rounded habit and soft, linear foliage that starts out bronze and turns to a lovely mid green.
In late spring and summer it produces masses of white dainty flowers which are lightly honey scented, and attract butterflies and bees.
This is a very hardy Australian native shrub suitable for coastal plantings and boggy sites and makes and excellent hedge due to its lovely, dense foliage.
it is quite drought hardy and goes well in rockeries and shrubberies alike.
