Crinum pedunculatum or the Beach Lily is a bulbous perennial with long, thick leathery leaves emerging from a true bulb.
The flowers are borne on stout erect stems up to 1m tall.
The flowers are star shaped with narrow white petals and long showy stamens projected beyond the petals and are followed by shiny green-white fruits.
An excellent hardy plant that can tolerate coastal positions, wet sites and salinity.
