Crowea exalata is a round, compact evergreen shrub with linear mid-green leaves that are aromatic when crushed.
This lovely native shrub bears masses of pink, five petaled flowers at the leaf axils and blooms mainly in spring, however it can also flower sporadically throughout the year as well.
It survives well in the shade but will develop a more open habit - essentially the more sun, the denser the end result.
This genus is closely related to the Boronia.
