Cupressus arizonica var. 'glabra is an evergreen coniferous tree with a variable habit depending on the climate.
Generally the warmer the climate the more fastigiate (tall and thin) the habit, while in colder climates it tends to develop a broader, more conical outline.
The scale-like leaves have a whitish gold hue and become thicker with age.
A very hardy tree which is able to withstand drought, frost, and neglect.
