Cyathea brownii or the Norfolk Island Tree Fern is the largest of the tree ferns.
It is a tall and elegant single trunked fern with deeply divided fronds that can grow to 6 metres in length making a huge umbrella crown.
The dead fronds hang straight down and drop cleanly off, keeping it very tidy.
Frond bases are covered in a whiskery fawn and brown scales.
This is a magnificent tree fern in height and width.
