The Chinese Tulip Tree, Liriodendron chinense is vigorous growing and hardy deciduous tree.
It has unusual, irregular four-lobed, dark green leaves that turn golden/yellow in autumn.
It bears cup-shaped green flowers that have delicate yellow veins and are followed by brown fruits.
Makes a good shade tree and prefers a temperate climate. It's very similar to L. tulipifera, but the leaf shape differs, as does the overall size of the tree.
