Acacia vestita or the Hairy Wattle is a medium sized bushy shrub with weeping branches and downy foliage.
As with many acacia this species has modified leaves or phyllodes, these are obliquely ovate-elliptical in shape are covered with tiny hairs - hence the name Hairy Wattle.
Between August and October they are covered with dense yellow flowers.
This is an attractive plant that flowers remains compact and can be used in hedges and as a feature plant.
