Isolepis nodosa or Knobby Club Rush is a dense rush-like plant with stems growing to about 1m tall.
In summer flowers are found on brown spikelets, these are found near the top of the stem and form a dense circular head.
It grows well next to saline or fresh water as well as on coastal dunes and is often used in soil stabilisation.
These are easy plants to grow as they require very little attention.
Often used around ponds and water features.
