This small to medium sized symmetrical Agave has a rosette of broad succulent leaves with sharp red spines along their margin, so handle with care.
The leaves are a pale grey-green colour, the underside of each leaf is marked by an imprint of the older leaf next to it.
They are very attractive and look great amongst other succulents in rockeries, patios or pots.
They do take a long time to flower (up to 20years), so don't grow them for their flowers!
When they do flower, the yellow blooms are borne in panicles of umbel-like clusters along a tall sturdy stem.
