Teucrium chamaedrys is an evergreen sub-shrub with a spreading habit. In summer it bears masses of small pink flowers from deep to pale pink. This is a plant that grows well in Mediterranean climate gardens in beds or rockeries
The leaves are small, toothed and aromatic. It has a long flowering season from summer to early autumn. The small, tubular flowers grow in whorls on short flowers spikes. The flower colour varies from deep to pale pink on the same flower stem creating a soft tapestry of colour.
This plant does not like high humidity, if growing in a humid region it is important to allow lots of space around the plant.
