Abelia mosanensis or the Fragrant Abelia is an easy to grow, semi-evergreen, upright shrub that has semi-arching stems with mid green foliage that turns golden in autumn.
The foliage is attractive in its own right but Abelia mosanensis also produces very fragrant, tubular, pinkish-white flowers in spring and summer and also attracts butterflies to your garden.
Fragrant Abelia prefers cooler climates and probably wouldn't go well in the more humid climates of Queensland and the intense summer heat of WA.
