Geranium x oxonianum is a vigorous herbaceous perennial with an upright and clumping habit.
The long stalked leaves are palmately lobed and light green colour, it is the leaves that give the plant a soft and rounded form.
This hybrid is popular because of its long flowering season. From late spring to early autumn flowers are borne above the foliage. The trumpet shaped flowers are a pale pink with deeper pink veins.
These plants do best in a sunny position growing in moist well drained soils. They can be used very successfully as filler plants in garden beds, borders and rockeries.
There are many cultivars available with various shades of pink flowers.
