Cosmos sulphureus is a great addition to any sunny annual border.
The bushy habit, fine (pinnatisect) feathery leaves and bright yellow to orange cup-shaped flowers throughout summer make it a winner when planted en masse or amongst other annuals.
As with most flowering annuals they require full sun, they will tolerate some shade but will tend to become leggy and will not produce as many flowers.
