Sedum album or White Stonecrop is a tufted perennial. It spreads along the ground reaching a height of around 10cm. It makes good groundcover along paths and patios, goes well in rockeries, hanging pots can also be used cascade down stone walls.
The succulent leaves are cylindrical like small jelly beans around the tufted stems. In late spring early summer white star-like blooms appear on short upright stems rising above the foliage.
Sedum album 'Coral clusters' has deep red foliage and small pink star-like flowers.
