Nepeta grandiflora is a clump forming and bushy perennial that creates an attractive, upright mound with its grey green and fragrant foliage over which appear violet blue flowers through spring and summer.
An excellent plant to provide contrast in borders or for edging or rock gardens and especially to grow them with hybrid tea roses to provide cover for the less attractive bare lower stems of the rose bushes.
Catmint will complement the many shades of rose blooms with their soft blue flowers and grey foliage.
This species of Catmint does not seem to attract cats as others do.
