Hibiscus genevii or the Mandrinette is a critically endangered species of Hibiscus from Mauritius.
Thought to be extinct, it was rediscovered in the 1960's.
It grows to a compact bush of around 2m high and wide, with beautiful open-faced, five petalled, pink or white flowers with a contrasting ermine centre and yellow stamen.
