Geum chiloensis is an evergreen, low growing perennial with hairy and soft irregular leaves.
It has five petaled yellow flowers on erect stems which have prominent centres .
They bloom in late spring and through early summer but will produce more flowers if deadheaded.
They are frost hardy and evergreen in most averagely warm climates.
They go well in larger containers and make a good edging for pathways
