Hibiscus insularis or the Phillip Island Hibiscus produces greenish-yellow flowers that fade to mauve through most of the year.
This species is listed as Critically Endangered under Australian federal environment legislation.
It has small leaves and short internodes which makes it good for a dense hedge but left un-pruned it will create a low, domed shape of neatly layered branches.
