In spring, Albuca setosa produces clusters pretty white to yellow upright flowers on stiff stems. The flowers are made up of six tepals, the outer three open and the inner three remain closed. All the tepals have a green stripe down the centre.
Both leaves and flowers are covered with tiny hairs that release a gentle fragrance when touched.
Albuca are a great addition to rockeries and borders with well drained sandy soil, these plants are drought tolerant once established
