Lavandula Angustifolia Munstead is a compact lavender, named after Gertrude Jekyll's garden at Munstead Wood.
It produces very fragrant, bluish-purple flowers which can be used for general frangrance like pot pouri or in cooking eg (scones, shortbread biscuits, mustards, honey, cooking oil).
Warratina Lavender Farm is set in the Yarra Valley at the foothills of Mt Dandenong. All lavender is harvested by hand and dried on the farm before the oils are extracted to be made into pure cosmetic products.
