How likely is it a Blueberry Ash will reach 15mtres
Australian Natives > Tree selection advice
I’m thinking of planting a Blueberry Ash for screening. Ideally it will grow 8m H and 3m wide- give or take. But anything over 10 m would be too much. I live on the mid north coast of Nsw. The site is well drained (Rocky) and in sun 90% of the day. Every feature of the tee is ideal, except for the risk that it may grow so very tall. Any ways to ensure it stays smaller or suggestions for other trees would be very appreciated. They don’t have to be natives. Thank you so much Audrey
Hey Audrey, We quote 9m as max height - but plant heights always vary from situation to situation. I’d say there was only a very small chance it would grow over 10m and if it did then just lop the top off. When these plants lose their growing tip that’s it, they stop.
