Following the recent heavy rain in NSW our lawn has suddenly died. Could this be due to poor drainage as we notice water is pooling on the surface. Before we invest in drainage, are there any other causes of sudden lawn death, if so what can we do to improve the situation, thank you.
Given the extreme conditions of the last month, it seems likely that water logged soil may have contributed to the lawn's demise. I would recommend asking a lawn expert to look at the lawn before you decide on putting in irrigation, there may be other options.
