Does any one know how to make a natural pesticide for a veggie patch? all veggies covered in grubs, bugs and anything else that can crawl!!
Hey Sonia, Pest Oil is a good eco solution as it does bio-degrade very easily. Just dilute it to instructions and spray. It will suffocate most pests so they'll chose to go elsewhere. Its not toxic but if you spray veggies then give them a rinse under the tap when you harvest them as some taste residue might remain. You can buy it here in our Garden Shop:- https://www.gardensonline.com.au/Shopping/GardenShop/Show_6521.aspx Alternatively you can soak some chilli seeds in water along with some crushed garlic. Leave it for a few days then strain out the solids, add a little washing up liquid and spray that on. This is 100% organic and will often prove to be very effective.
