Hi my Eumundi Quandongs (4 in a row) are very stressed and this has been progressive since Feb 22. I have used Neom and Seasol fertiliser however there has been no improvement. Would appreciate any advice. Please see photos.
Kind Regards
Chris
Hi Chris
Leaves turning brown tends to be an indication of too much or too little water. When investigating the problem the best place is to start is the soil and roots. Is the soil too dry or wet, how well is your soil draining? Check the roots - do they look healthy and are they spreading out through the soil or they circling around the main stem and effectively strangling the tree.
It is also important to remember that Seasol is a soil tonic and not a fertiliser, it is a great product especially when used in conjunction with a fertiliser, for natives we recommend a sustained release granular fertilser for natives.
