This is a small stemless Aloe with a basal rosette of grey green leaves tinged with pink.
The colour of the leaves will vary with the amount of sunlight, they turn pinker in sunlight and where there is less sunlight the leaves with remain grey green.
From late winter to early spring a single multi-branched flower stem is produced with attractive clusters of tubular flowers that are pendulous and coral red in colour.
This is a really pretty plant for your rockery or pots, at anytime of year it can be enjoyed for its leaves and in spring for its flowers.
